UFO over Manhattan

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

Mystery shiny objects floating over Manhattan spark UFO frenzy:

A mysterious shiny object floating high over Manhattan’s West Side set off a flurry of reports and wild speculation Wednesday that a UFO was flying over the city.

Police and the FAA said they began getting flooded with calls starting at 1:30 p.m. from people reporting a silvery object hovering high over Chelsea.

Law enforcement sources said they believed the object was likely some sort of balloon, but as of late Wednesday they had not confirmed exactly what it is.

A Daily News reporter could see a tiny, silver dot floating approximately 5,000 feet above 23th St. and Eighth Ave., where dozens of people gathered late in the afternoon to catch a glimpse.

Aliens messing with our nukes!

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

Aliens have deactivated British and US nuclear missiles, say US military pilots:

Aliens have landed, infiltrated British nuclear missile sites and deactivated the weapons, according to US military pilots.

The beings have repeated their efforts in the US and have been active since 1948, the men said, and accused the respective governments of trying to keep the information secret.

The unlikely claims were compiled by six former US airmen and another member of the military who interviewed or researched the evidence of 120 ex-military personnel.

The information they have collected suggests that aliens could have landed on Earth as recently as seven years ago.

The men’s aim is to press the two governments to recognise the long-standing extra-terrestrial visits as fact.

Brazil wants to know about their UFOs

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Brazil air force to record UFO sightings:

Brazil’s government has ordered its air force to officially record any sighting of unidentified flying objects.

A government decree said all military and civilian pilots as well as air traffic controllers should register any UFO sightings with the national aerospace defence command.

The information will be stored in the national archives in Rio de Janeiro. It will be made available to researchers, including those seeking evidence of extraterrestrial life.

Anything unusual that is seen, photographed or video filmed in Brazil’s air space will now have to be reported and catalogued.

But the air force said it would limit itself to collecting information, and would not be chasing UFOs.

UFO coverup goes back as far as Churchill and Ike?

Winston Churchill ‘Ordered Cover-Up’ Of UFO Info To Avoid Mass Panic, Says National Archives

Winston Churchill allegedly ordered a cover up of a close encounter between an RAF aircraft and a UFO during the Second World War because it would create “mass panic”, accordingly to newly-released files.

The claim that the then Prime Minister ordered details of the unexplained incident over the East Coast to be kept secret for at least 50 years was made by a scientist who said his grandfather was one of Churchill’s bodyguards.

The tale is told in newly declassified Ministry of Defence UFO files put online by the National Archives. Allegations of the cover-up emerged when the man, from Leicester, wrote to the Government in 1999 trying to find out more about the incident.

He described how his grandfather, who served with the RAF in the war, was present when Churchill and US General Dwight Eisenhower discussed how to deal with the UFO encounter.

The man, who is not named in the files, said Churchill was reported to have exclaimed: “This event should be immediately classified since it would create mass panic amongst the general population and destroy one’s belief in the church.”

Man hit by six meteorites is being ‘targeted by aliens’

A Bosnian man who claims he is being targeted by extraterrestrials after a series of meteorite strikes on his house has now been hit by a sixth space rock in the space of a few years.

Radivoje Lajic first came to international attention in 2008, shortly after the fifth meteorite had crashed into the roof of his house in the northern village of Gornji Lajici.

And now, within the past month, another rock has hit the roof of his house, in defiance of all the odds – making it six strikes since the plague of meteorites began in 2007.

Experts at Belgrade University have confirmed that all the falling rocks he has handed over were meteorites. They are now trying to work out what exactly it is about his house that particularly attracts them. The strikes always happen when it is raining heavily, he says, never when there are clear skies.

Lajic has his own explanation, of course. After the fifth rock struck his house, he said: ‘I am obviously being targeted by extraterrestrials. I don’t know what I have done to annoy them but there is no other explanation that makes sense. The chance of being hit by a meteorite is so small that getting hit six times has to be deliberate.’

UFO hunter: Aliens killing sheep

A British UFO hunter said he is convinced extraterrestrials are behind recent sheep mutilations on the country’s farms — and claims he witnessed such an event.

Phil Hoyle, 53, of Shrewsbury, England — who said he has been investigating British livestock mutilations for nine years — said he and members of his Animal Pathology Field Unit team witnessed two UFOs using some sort of light to zap sheep and releasing smaller versions of themselves closer to the animals, The Sun reported Monday.

“For a short while it looked more like a Star Wars battle,” he said of the purported incident at a Welsh farm near Radnor Forest.

“The technology involved in these attacks is frightening. These lights and spheres are clearly not ours. They are built by technology and intelligence that’s not from here,” Hoyle said.

Alien Abduction Day Arrives, But Will Little Green Men?:

Clamp on your foil hat and cower under your bed, Alien Abduction Day is here!

March 20 is Alien Abduction Day, when “the skies are carefully watched by those expecting / wishing to be abducted by an alien life form,” states eHow.com.

The strange holiday’s origins are unclear, though it was clearly popularized by the 2008 Alien Abduction Day festival in Toronto.

The festival was an all around sci-fi street party in Toronto, sponsored by a comic book shop and several local businesses.

But references online exist to the even from years earlier — and watch for Twitter to heat up Saturday with the #AlienAbductionDay tag.

Royal astronomer: ‘Aliens may be staring us in the face’

Lord Martin Rees, president of the Royal Society and astronomer to the Queen, said the existence of extra terrestrial life may be beyond human understanding. He made the remarks shortly after hosting the national science academy’s first conference on the possibility of alien life.

“They could be staring us in the face and we just don’t recognise them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology,” he said.

“I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there as aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains.”

UFO pyramid reported over Kremlin

A giant pyramid which appears to be a UFO hovering over the Kremlin has caused frenzied speculation in Russia that it is an alien spacecraft.

The shots, one taken at night from a car and one during the day, were both filmed by amateurs.

The ‘craft’ was said to have hovered for hours over Red Square in the Russian capital.

The clips of the ‘invasion’ have gone to the top of the country’s version of YouTube. The identity of the shape has not been confirmed.

Russian reports ruled out a UFO but police refused to comment. Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence UFO analyst, said it was “one of the most extraordinary UFO clips I’ve ever seen”.

Cattle mutilations baffle Colorado ranchers

Manuel A. Sanchez has ruled out every logical explanation for the fate that has befallen the calves on his ranch in southern Colorado.

Over the past month, he’s found four calves dead in a way that he cannot reconcile with anything in his 50 years of raising cattle: eyes and ears missing, tongues and genitals excised in what appeared to be a series of fine cuts.

Mountain lions, bears or coyotes would leave messier marks, he said. And Sanchez found no tire tracks or footprints that would suggest a human invader — nor even bloodstains he’d expect to find around the carcasses if someone had butchered them.

“There’s nothing to go by,” said Sanchez, who estimated his financial loss at $10,000. “I can’t figure it out.”

Costilla County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Chavez agreed: “There’s nothing to follow up on.”

Besides Sanchez’s calves in San Luis, several cases have been reported near Trinidad.

It’s not the first time. In the 1970s, ranchers in eastern and southern Colorado filed more than 200 mutilation reports, according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation reports.

The agency investigated, even conducting an undercover operation, but to no avail.

“It was such a bewilderment,” recalled Tillie Bishop, a state senator at the time. Some people suspected satanic cults. Others grew convinced of an otherworldly explanation — space aliens.

Mystery as spiral blue light display hovers above Norway

A mysterious light display appearing over Norway last night has left thousands of residents in the north of the country baffled. Witnesses from Trøndelag to Finnmark compared the amazing sight to anything from a Russian rocket to a meteor or a shock wave – although no one appears to have mentioned UFOs yet.

The phenomenon began when what appeared to be a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain. It stopped mid-air, then began to circulate.

Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from its centre – lasting for ten to twelve minutes before disappearing completely.

Bizarre calf mutilations found on Colorado ranch:

A creepy string of calf mutilations in southern Colorado has a rancher and sheriff’s officials mystified. Four calves were found dead in a pasture just north of the New Mexico state line in recent weeks.

The dead calves had their skins peeled back and organs cleared from the rib cage. One calf had its tongue removed.

But rancher Manuel Sanchez has found no signs of human attackers, such as footprints or ATV tracks. And there are no signs of an animal attack by a coyote or mountain lion. Usually predators leave pools of blood or drag marks from carrying away the livestock.

Alien disclosure coming soon?

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Official disclosure of extraterrestrial life is imminent:

An official announcement by the Obama administration disclosing the reality of extraterrestrial life is imminent. For several months, senior administration officials have been quietly deliberating behind closed doors how much to disclose to the world about extraterrestrial life. Dissatisfaction among powerful institutions such as the U.S. Navy over the decades-long secrecy policy has given a boost to efforts to disclose the reality of extraterrestrial life and technology.

The impending disclosure announcement follows upon the secret implementation of a year long openness policy on UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Over the period February 12-14, 2008, the United Nations held closed doors discussions where approximately 30 nations secretly agreed on a new openness policy on UFOs and extraterrestrial life in 2009. The openness policy was implemented but never publicly announced due to threats against UN diplomats not to disclose details of the secret agreement.  The secret UN agreement was based on two conditions. First, UFOs would continue to appear around the world; and second, the openness policy would not lead to social unrest in liberal democracies. Both conditions have been satisfied making it possible for the next stage to begin – official disclosure of extraterrestrial life.

It’s Saturday light fever

RESIDENTS in a Highland village were left terrified by a UFO sighting which lasted TWO hours.

The bizarre sightings began at 11pm on Saturday and the spectacular show in the sky above Muir of Ord, Ross-shire ended at 1am.

Residents watched in awe as three bright orange dome-shaped objects hovered then flew at high speed in random spirals closer and closer to the village.

Last night leading expert Nick Pope said: “This could be one of the most significant UFO events in recent history.

An RAF spokesman at Lossiemouth said there had been no reports that required a response on Saturday night.

He added: “Usually there are innocent explanations for these things.”

Apollo astronaut demands release of “Saucer Secrets”:

Retired navy captain and Apollo XIV astronaut Edgar Mitchell today called for the U. S. government to disclose to its citizens and other Earthlings what he asserts are the realities of long-standing extraterrestrial visitations and interactions with our planet.

Speaking this morning at “X-Conference 2009″ in Gaithersburg, MD, a suburb of the nation’s capital, Mitchell told several hundred attendees and a phalanx of video cameras that, with our planet confronting population pressures and critical questions of environmental and energy sustainability, the need for disclosure about extraterrestrial involvement with Earth is critical.

Mitchell contends that the dispersal of knowledge about what he believes to be the end of Earth’s apparent quarantine from other civilizations, and advancement of planetary culture beyond its present fragmentation and incoherence, are desirable results of the widest public release of information about the extraterrestrial presence he believes is real.

Sorry folks, but this secret got privatized long ago.  Good luck trying to find it (or wring it free) now…

Alien Orgasm Activity Not Welcome in Israel

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

Mega-orgy in Tel Aviv cancelled due to public pressure

After weeks of preparations for the largest sex event of its kind in Israel, organizers were forced to cancel it this week due to public pressure and threats exerted on the owner of the venue where the sex fest was to take place.

The event in question, which was scheduled to take place on “International Orgasm Day,” aimed to bring together some 250 participants seeking to promote world peace through multiple orgasms reached by masturbation or sex.

The orgy was organized by the Raelian movement, a UFO religion whose followers believe humankind was created by aliens. The group’s spokesman, Kobi Drori, said that the orgy was meant to include straights, gays, lesbians and bisexuals, all of them over 18.

“The purpose of the event was to try and bring world peace through mass orgasm, this by experiencing consensual sex and natural, uninterrupted pleasure. It was important to make love without feeling guilty or shy,” he explained.

To Defend Our Airspace, We Should Investigate U.F.O.s.

ON the afternoon of Nov. 7, 2006, pilots and airport employees at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago saw a disc-like object hovering over the tarmac for several minutes. Because nothing was tracked on radar, the Federal Aviation Administration did not investigate. Yet radar is not a reliable detector of all aircraft. Stealth planes are designed to be invisible to radar, and many radar systems filter out signals not matching the normal characteristics of aircraft. Did it really make sense to entirely ignore the observations of several witnesses?

A healthy skepticism about extraterrestrial space travelers leads people to disregard U.F.O. sightings without a moment’s thought. But in the United States, this translates into overdependence on radar data and indifference to all kinds of unidentified aircraft — a weakness that could be exploited by terrorists or anyone seeking to engage in espionage against the United States.

Apollo 14 astronaut claims aliens HAVE made contact – but it has been covered up for 60 years

Aliens have contacted humans several times but governments have hidden the truth for 60 years, the sixth man to walk on the moon has claimed.

Apollo 14 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA but each one was covered up.

Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as ‘little people who look strange to us.’

He said supposedly real-life ET’s were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.

Chillingly, he claimed our technology is ‘not nearly as sophisticated’ as theirs and “had they been hostile”, he warned ‘we would be been gone by now’.

FMillionaire Missing on Hawaii’s Main Island of Oahu

The millionaire founder of an Internet software security company remained missing on Hawaii’s main island of Oahu this week, police said.

Steven Thomas, 36, was last seen June 30 at the Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Waikiki, where his mother and a cousin were staying.

His family said he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in April but has refused medication.

“He thinks everyone on the island is out to get him,” Candis Thomas said of her husband’s bipolar condition. “He thinks the military is involved, he thinks that aliens are involved, and he’s just been in a real delusion state of being fearful.”

Thomas was arrested April 27 and taken to Castle Medical Center after he ran naked into the middle of a race/walk in front of his home in Lanikai. He also owns a home in Boulder, Colo.

He is the founder of Boulder-based Webroot Software Inc. The software company that created the Spy Sweeper and Window Washer programs was sold in 2004 to a group of investors for about $108 million.

Most complex crop circle ever discovered in British fields

The most complex, “mind-boggling” crop circle ever to be seen in Britain has been discovered in a barley field in Wiltshire.

The formation, measuring 150ft in diameter, is apparently a coded image representing the first 10 digits, 3.141592654, of pi.

It is has appeared in a field near Barbury Castle, an iron-age hill fort above Wroughton, Wilts, and has been described by astrophysicists as “mind-boggling”.

Michael Reed, an astrophysicist, said: “The tenth digit has even been correctly rounded up. The little dot near the centre is the decimal point.

We may be extraterrestrials after all

Scientists from the Imperial College of London claim to have found evidence that life on our planet did not originate from Earth itself. For the first time, the scientists say, it is confirmed that an important component of early genetic material found in meteorite fragments is of extraterrestrial origin.

We had a lot of space and alien stories lately, with one particular interesting making even the Larry King show. But any of that material could be considered insignificant, if Zita Martins’ claims, a research associate at the Department of Earth Science and Engineering of the Imperial College, are in fact correct. According to the researcher, at least parts of the raw material that are believed to have been required to create the first molecules of DNA and RNA may be of extraterrestrial origin.

Martins and her colleagues said they discovered uracil and xanthine, which are precursors to the molecules that make up DNA and RNA and are known as nucleobases in rock fragments of the Murchison meteorite, which crashed in Australia in 1969. She explained that “early life may have adopted nucleobases from meteoritic fragments for use in genetic coding which enabled them to pass on their successful features to subsequent generations.”

UFO sightings: UFO explodes over small Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc | Mystery as no planes missing in area

A UFO exploded in mid air – showering a small Vietnamese island with metal-like debris.

“As impressive as it is, it’s still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence,” he said Wednesday. “It’s really the final visual confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence.”

When Peckman went before city officials this month to discuss his proposed ET initiative, he promised to show the video.

Britain Opens Up Secret UFO Files

The men were air traffic controllers. Experienced, calm professionals. Nobody was drinking.

What they saw has never been explained. And they were so worried about losing their jobs that they demanded their names be kept off the official reports.

No one, they knew, would believe their claim that an unidentified flying object landed at the airfield they were overseeing in the east of England, touched down briefly, then took off again at tremendous speed.

But that’s what they reported happening at four in the afternoon on April 19, 1984, at an unspecified small airport near the eastern coast of England.

Their “Report of Unusual Aerial Phenomenon” is one of more than 1,000 pages of formerly secret UFO documents released Wednesday by Britain’s National Archives.

Vatican: It’s OK for Catholics to Believe in Aliens

There could be alien life forms and believing they exist isn’t contradictory to faith in God, the top astronomer at the Vatican said in an interview published Tuesday.

In the Vatican newspaper piece, titled “The Extraterrestrial Is My Brother,” the Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes said the expansiveness of the universe means there could be life on planets other than Earth.

“In my opinion this possibility exists,” Funes, the director of the Vatican Observatory, told L’Osservatore Romano. “Astronomers believe the universe is made up of 100 billion galaxies, each of which consists of 100 billion stars. … Life forms could exist in theory even without oxygen or hydrogen.”

Funes said that there might even be other intelligent life out there, but believing in its existence doesn’t pose a problem for those of the Catholic faith.

Spooky Flying Character Has UFO Watchers in Mexico Buzzing

Sensational sightings of a flying human above the skies of Mexico could be genuine, says a paranormal expert.

The mysterious woman-like figure was caught on camera as it hovered above mountains in Nuevo Leon city.

UFO watchers said the figure appeared to be wearing a cape, leading to claims that it was a witch or wizard when it was first seen in 2006.

Now Mexico’s leading UFO expert Anna Luisa Cid says the sightings were true after carrying out her own investigations.

“I think that the possibility is there,” Cid said. “An imaginary object is not recorded on film, nor does it produce over 40 witnesses.”

Nuevo Leon UFO club managed to film the spooky flying character.

Space songs ‘could attract alien danger’

Aliens could misinterpret earth’s classic songs as declarations of war if they are recklessly broadcast into space, some scientists say.

Last week NASA broadcast a Beatles song, Across the Universe, towards the North Star, in the hope it would be noticed by extra-terrestrial beings.

But scientists have urged NASA to be more cautious, saying aliens could misinterpret the song, and even take it as a battle cry.

“Before sending out even symbolic messages, we need an open discussion about the potential risks,” New Scientist magazine reported Dr Douglas Vakoch of the SETI Institute as saying.

Local reporter on Texas UFO case leaves newspaper; integrity of local, national news media explored

The local newspaper reporter in Stephenville, Texas, who helped cover a UFO sighting case there is no longer working at the Stephenville Empire-Tribune newspaper, effective last Thursday, Feb. 7.

Journalist Angelia Joiner had been covering the UFO story which broke early in January and brought national and international news media representatives and researchers to Stephenville, other nearby small towns and the surrounding region.

Mainstream media such as the Associated Press, CNN and other major TV networks and newspapers covered the incident with great interest. The international press also paid special attention to the UFO sightings in Stephenville and towns in the area.

Media personalities such as CNN’s Larry King and NBC’s Today show host Matt Lauer explored the sightings on their shows.

According to information obtained for this report, management at the Stephenville Empire-Tribune did not want further coverage in the paper of the sightings by local citizens of something that appeared to be highly unusual. Pressures may have been placed on newspaper management to discontinue articles on the subject.

Dozens in Texas Town Report Seeing UFO

In this farming community where nightfall usually brings clear, starry skies, residents are abuzz over reported sightings of what many believe is a UFO.

Several dozen people—including a pilot, county constable and business owners—insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

“People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it’s the end of times,” said Steve Allen, a freight company owner and pilot who said the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. “It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts.”

While federal officials insist there’s a logical explanation, locals swear that it was larger, quieter, faster and lower to the ground than an airplane. They also said the object’s lights changed configuration, unlike those of a plane. People in several towns who reported seeing it over several weeks have offered similar descriptions of the object.

Japan Confronts Space Alien Invasion Plans

The Japanese Minister of Defense is calling for efforts to work out the military and legal issues that would result if Japanese were attacked by extraterrestrials. Two members of the Japanese cabinet have expressed personal beliefs in the existence of  extraterrestrials out there, somewhere. Because of Japans 1947 constitution, there are restrictions on what actions the military can take. Basically, the Japanese military is, technically, a purely defensive force. But an extraterrestrial invasion might play out in ways that would find the Japanese military prevented, by lawyers, from moving against an extraterrestrial menace.

Aliens caused Sicily fires, say officials

Aliens were responsible for a series of unexplained fires in fridges, TV’s and mobile phones in an Italian village, according to an Italian government report.

Canneto di Caronia, in northern Sicily, drew attention three years ago after residents reported everyday household objects bursting into flames.

TV news footage at the time showed electrical appliances as well as cookers, a pile of wedding presents and furniture smouldering.

Dozens of experts including scientists, electrical engineers and military boffins, arrived in the village 60 miles east of Palermo to investigate the phenomenon.

Arson was quickly ruled out and at one stage an amazed scientist was interviewed after he described how he saw an unplugged electrical cable burst into flames.

Locals were quick to blame supernatural forces and at the time the Vatican’s chief exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth backed up their fears and said: “I’ve seen things like this before. Demons occupy a house and appear in electrical goods. Let’s not forget that Satan and his followers have immense powers.”

Now in an interim leaked report published by several Italian newspapers it has emerged that the Civil Protection Department has concluded the most likely cause was “aliens”.

Recent probes inside comets show it is overwhelmingly likely that life began in space, according to a new paper by Cardiff University scientists.

Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe and colleagues at the University’s Centre for Astrobiology have long argued the case for panspermia – the theory that life began inside comets and then spread to habitable planets across the galaxy. A recent BBC Horizon documentary traced the development of the theory.

Now the team claims that findings from space probes sent to investigate passing comets reveal how the first organisms could have formed.

The 2005 Deep Impact mission to Comet Tempel 1 discovered a mixture of organic and clay particles inside the comet. One theory for the origins of life proposes that clay particles acted as a catalyst, converting simple organic molecules into more complex structures. The 2004 Stardust Mission to Comet Wild 2 found a range of complex hydrocarbon molecules – potential building blocks for life.

Cattle Mutilation Update

Growing Concern Over Mutes In Entre Rios Argentina

Cattlemen from the department of Paran, Entre Rios, reported finding strangely mutilated animals in fields in this province.

The animals, all of them beef cattle, have had their genitals, tongues and udders removed, according to peasants.

The circumstance repeats itself relatively frequently in rural locations of this province and occurred this time in fields near Tabossi and Viale, to the northeast of the provincial capital.

Abel Gunter, one of the affected cattlemen, described the situation as “strange” and claimed that rural dwellers are displaying “concern” and intrigue over the mysterious animal deaths.

“We say that extraterrestrials are coming to mutilate our cows,” said the cattleman in an interview with a local station. He insisted that there is “something odd” in the animal deaths, because dogs and wild animals in the area generally feed off of the dead cow remains, but refuse to approach the mutilated specimens.

UFO sightings bring town to a standstill

A crowd of 100 stunned stargazers brought a town centre to a standstill when five mysterious UFOs were spotted hovering in the sky.

Drinkers spilled out of pubs, motorists stopped to gawp and camera phones were aimed upwards as the five orbs, in a seeming formation, hovered above Stratford-Upon-Avon for half an hour.

The unidentified flying objects lit up the otherwise clear night sky above Shakespeare’s birthplace in Warwickshire on Saturday.

Scientists find signs of water beyond solar system

Astronomers said on Wednesday they had discovered the best evidence yet of water outside our own solar system — in the atmosphere of a giant planet 60 light years from Earth.

Writing in the scientific journal Nature, researchers said the planet itself, HD 189733b, was unlikely to harbor life but evidence supported the search for life in other solar systems.

“We’re thrilled to have identified clear signs of water on a planet that is trillions of miles away,” Giovanna Tinetti, a European Space Agency fellow at the Institute d’Astrophysique de Paris in France who led the study, was quoted as saying in an accompanying news release.

Monroe v. Chewbacca?

On Sunday, a Marilyn Monroe look-alike called the cops on a Chewbacca character, reports and Elmo say.

Officers took a battery complaint from a Monroe impersonator Sunday at the Hollywood & Highland complex, the outdoor Hollywood mall that serves as home base for the Oscars, LAPD officer April Harding said on Monday.

The woman, whose name police declined to reveal, alleged someone touched her on her right shoulder “without her permission,” Harding said. She also told officers that about a month ago a man grabbed her hand and placed it on his genitals.

UFO Believers Flock to Roswell to Celebrate 60th Anniversary of Supposed Flying Saucer Crash

If you truly believe a UFO and its crew of bug-eyed aliens came crashing down here 60 years ago, rest assured: You’re not alone.

At least 35,000 people have descended on Roswell this weekend for the 2007 Amazing Roswell UFO Festival to commemorate a purported flying saucer crash on a nearby ranch in July 1947. Participants have filled hotel rooms and nearly doubled the southeastern New Mexico town’s population for a few days.

The festival, which began Thursday, is a mixed bag that includes live concerts (one headlined by a band with a computer-generated ‘alien’ drummer), costume contests, a Main Street parade and a slew of lectures that ponder everything from body snatchers to “What Does NASA Really Know?”

Dead Airman’s Affidavit: Roswell Aliens Were Real

…But last week came an astonishing new twist to the Roswell mystery.

Lt. Walter Haut was the public-relations officer at the base in 1947 and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on the orders of the base commander, Col. William Blanchard.

Haut died in December 2005, but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death.

Last week, the text was released. It asserts that the weather-balloon claim was a cover story and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar.

He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.

He wasn’t the first Roswell witness to talk about alien bodies.

‘Mile-wide UFO’ spotted by British airline pilot

One of the largest UFOs ever seen has been observed by the crew and passengers of an airliner over the Channel Islands.

An official air-miss report on the incident several weeks ago appears in Pilot magazine.

Aurigny Airlines captain Ray Bowyer, 50, flying close to Alderney first spotted the object, described as “a cigar-shaped brilliant white light”.

“You’re going to see some hard evidence” at the Flatwoods Monster 55th Anniversary and Flying Saucer Extravaganza on Sept. 7-8 in Charleston, said promoter Larry Bailey. “That’s a promise. That’s not just promotional talk.”

Nazi Germany achieved its technological advantage with aliens’ help

Adolf Hitler and other Nazi bonzes heeded predictions of pagan priests and astrologists. But little is known about the interest of the Third Reich in aliens. Ufologists in the West think that the issue was purposefully kept secret because a great share of the classified army and technology heritage of Nazis had been seized by countries of the anti-Hitler coalition.

Much of what is said by western historians and ufologists may sound too fantastic and even absurd.

Nazi researchers succeeded in development of nuclear bombs, other up-to-date armament and achieved a very high technological level in general. It is supposed that the success was thanks to contacts with aliens that were quite regular.

Before Hitler came to power national socialists had been developing projects meant to find the origins of the legendary Aryans and the location of legendary Shambala. They expected to obtain some secret super knowledge to seize the domination over the world. Secret expeditions were sent to Tibet and the Himalayas. The number of such expeditions considerably increased when Nazis came to power in 1933.

Raelians relocate to Vegas

Alien Nation, Raelians Moving Headquarters to Las Vegas:

You’ve heard the old cliche that Las Vegas has more churches per capita than any other city in America? Maybe it’s true, maybe it isn’t, but we’re about to get another one.

The Raelians are unlike any other religion in the world since they do not believe in God at all. But it’s their other beliefs that are more likely to raise hackles among other faiths.

It’s just a coincidence that Raelians rhymes with aliens, but it’s telling. Although they’ve been called a cult, they are far removed from any religious cult you’ve ever heard of.

How to prepare for alien invasion

When the aliens finally invade Earth, you may wish you had listened to Travis Taylor and Bob Boan. And if the invasion follows the plot of a typical Hollywood blockbuster, they might also be the guys called in at the last minute to save the day. After all, they have written An Introduction to Planetary Defence, a primer on how humanity can defend itself if little green men wielding death rays show up at our cosmic doorstep.

Aliens busy over Canada

Annual UFO survey records 736 reported sightings across Canada last year:

Aliens and spaceships are a bit passe these days, but 736 reported UFO sightings across Canada last year shows an “underlying, real phenomenon” going on, says one of the country’s top UFO researchers.

“It’s true, we don’t have as many aliens on TV as we used to – they used to be on commercials selling us everything from Pepsi to decongestants,” says Chris Rutkowski, director of the Winnipeg-based Ufology Research institute.

“And yet the phenomenon persists, which to me says there is a basic underlying, real phenomenon that extends beyond media and pop culture.”

Russian geneticists to reveal alien’s DNA mystery

Scientists may soon unravel the mystery of the “Uralian alien,” a tiny creature found near the town of Kyshtym in the Urals. Scientists carried out five series of laboratory studies investigating the DNA samples of the creature’s biological material. The latest study conducted by a Moscow-based Institute of Forensic Medicine produced sensational results. “A gene discovered in the DNA samples doesn’t correspond with any genes pertaining to humans or anthropoid apes,” said Vadim Chernobrov, a coordinator with the public research center Kosmopoisk. “No gene samples available at the laboratory match the gene. The experts in DNA research haven’t come across any creatures with such an elongated DNA molecule,” Chernobrov added.

UFOs flew over Phoenix in ‘97, Symington says

Former Gov. Fife Symington says now that those strange lights that appeared over Phoenix a decade ago were from another world and that he had a close encounter with an alien craft on March 13, 1997. “I’m a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies. It was bigger than anything that I’ve ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people,” Symington said Thursday. “I don’t know why people would ridicule it.”

UFO science key to halting climate change: former Canadian defense minister

A former Canadian defense minister is demanding governments worldwide disclose and use secret alien technologies obtained in alleged UFO crashes to stem climate change, a local paper said Wednesday.

“I would like to see what (alien) technology there might be that could eliminate the burning of fossil fuels within a generation … that could be a way to save our planet,” Paul Hellyer, 83, told the Ottawa Citizen. Alien spacecrafts would have traveled vast distances to reach Earth, and so must be equipped with advanced propulsion systems or used exceptional fuels, he told the newspaper.

Brits were very curious about UFOs

Could we have hitched a ride on UFOs?

It is not the sort of discussion you imagine among the grey-suited ranks of Whitehall – defence analysts debating the existence of little green men and speculating about whether they have visited Earth.

But a set of newly released internal Ministry of Defence documents gives a fascinating insight into the military’s interest in UFOs. They tell the story of the MoD’s decision to investigate the threat they might pose and whether alien military technology could be used in the defence of the realm. They also reveal the conflicting attitudes within Whitehall to the subject and the lengths that officials went to in order to keep the project secret.

Was Project Serpo a hoax to identify government leakers?

Friday, February 23rd, 2007

News on ‘Project SERPO’ deceptions takes researchers, public on complex paths to truth:

This week, new information related to the so-called “Project SERPO” was posted on a Web site involved in this story. The information describes a new angle of deception and disinformation about this alleged U.S. Government project.

Project SERPO refers to claims that a top secret exchange program in the 1960s and ‘70s involved sending an American team of 12 military personnel to another planet, similar to the depictions in parts of the 1977 Steven Spielberg film CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND.

The newly released information may provide additional clarification, and confusion, on some of the factors involved in the Project SERPO story that surfaced for the general public in late 2005 and has been presented on the Web site serpo.org.

They devised a setup that was two-fold in its release.
1 – would show how the material was leaked to the outside and by whom.

2 – once the material was released, track the flow and study where it may lead. It was a bonus to them when these projects hit the Internet and they learned the identities of those viewing the information and for study in the near future tests.

For sale: prime place for a prophet to play:

As real-estate listings go, this one is out of this world. A property is on sale in Quebec for a cool $2.95-million, and it even comes with its own flying saucer.

UFOland, the playground and pied-à-terre of the white-robed prophet known as Rael, is on the market — a onetime utopia that appears to have fallen to Earth.

The Raelians, who gained global notoriety in late 2002 after announcing the birth of a yet-to-be-seen cloned baby, say their popularity has peaked in Quebec. So they are packing up and moving south.

Russian fishermen catch squeaking alien and eat it

Village residents from the Rostov region of Russia caught a weird creature two weeks ago after a strong storm in the Sea of Azov. The shark-looking creature was producing strange squeaky sounds. The fishermen originally believed that they had caught an alien and decided to film the monster with the help of a cell phone camera. The footage clearly shows the creatures’ head, body and long tail. The bizarre catch was weighing almost 100 kilograms, the Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.

However, ufologists and scientists were greatly disappointed when they found out that the fishermen had eaten the monster. They said that they were not scared of the creature so they decided to use it as food. One of the men said that it was the most delicious dish he had ever eaten.

Aliens or Meteors over Midwest

Monday, February 5th, 2007

Bright lights reported over Midwest skies:

From southeastern Wisconsin to as far as Des Moines, Iowa and St. Louis, people reported seeing balls of fire, possibly meteors, streaking across the sky last night. No major meteor showers were expected in the northern hemisphere on Sunday night, said Jim Lattis, director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison astronomy department’s Space Place. But he said it was possible that a minor shower may have been what prompted calls to authorities.

UFO’s seen over South Shore sky:

It’s hard to draw a surfer’s attention away from the next wave, but whatever was in the northwest sky Friday evening around 6:20 p.m. drew a crowd along Kewalo Basin and Ala Moana Beach Park. Honolulu resident Peter Hollingworth described as two lights circling in the sky, about 45 degrees above the horizon. Video of one of the lights was recorded from the Channel 2 SkyCam. “These two little fireballs with a stream behind it,” said Hollingworth. “Looked kind of like a shooting start but it just kept going. They changed directions a few times, at first it was coming in then it turned, then it went out then it came back in again”

UFO’s were just flares…

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Lights ‘not of this world’ mystery finally solved:

Not everyone is quick to accept the Air Force’s explanation. “Are you trying to tell us that a retired Air Force colonel doesn’t know the difference between flares and lights from a UFO? But the Air Force trusted him enough to fly F-16s, multi-million dollar jets?” asks Jim Chadbourne of Waterford, Conn. “When are the media going to stop listening to the government’s crap and report the truth?”

“Finally Solved” – yes, just like the “swamp gas” explanation for the Michigan sightings back in the 60’s, or the “crash test dummy” explanation for Roswell.

 FM radio gives away aliens

If aliens tens of light-years away have radar and FM radio, we may finally be able to hear them. Scientists say piggybacking detection software onto new radio telescopes designed primarily to observe the early universe could allow astronomers to eavesdrop on everyday sounds from distant, Earth-like civilisations. “The key is to really identify something that looks suspicious and follow up on it,” says Avi Loeb, a professor of astronomy at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

In the sky! A bird? A plane? A … UFO?

It sounds like a tired joke–but a group of airline employees insist they are in earnest, and they are upset that neither their bosses nor the government will take them seriously. A flying saucerlike object hovered low over O’Hare International Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick clouds with such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast skies, said some United Airlines employees who observed the phenomenon.

2006 A Year End Wrapup:

Something was in the air we agreed. Sightings, some of a remarkable nature, were being reported monthly if not weekly and this phenomena seemed to be increasing. Making trouble for the Air Force:

“In the firm belief that the American public deserves a better explanation than that thus far given by the Air Force, I strongly recommend that there be a committee investigation of the UFO phenomena. I think we owe it to the people to establish credibility regarding UFOs and to produce the greatest possible enlightenment of the subject.

I have taken special interest in these (UFO) accounts because many of the latest reported sightings have been made in my home state of Michigan…Because I think there may be substance to some of these reports and because I believe The American people are entitled to a more thorough explanation than has been given them by the Air force to date”

Reptilian Aliens from Upper 4th Dimension Taking On David Icke

Saturday, December 23rd, 2006

So was David Icke right?

The much ridiculed world of David Icke has been shocked into real-life turmoil by a court case that threatens to bankrupt Britain’s self-styled conspiracy guru. Icke is fighting to retain copyright of the 16 books he has written over the same number of years. He is involved in a legal battle with a business associate over the written work, artwork and printing disks of his self- published tomes on the theme that we are all victims of a sinister global campaign. The case, which is being fought in the US, is costing Icke huge amounts. Since losing his job as a BBC sports commentator 15 years ago, after he appeared on the Wogan show in a turquoise shellsuit claiming to be the son of God, Icke has eked out a living from his bizarre theories. He explains: “It’s emotionally frustrating when you put 16 years of work in and take enormous amounts of ridicule and now you turn the corner and someone is trying to take it all from you.” But, he adds guardedly, things are “well on the way to being sorted”.
